During the Depot Community Room’s annual Spooks and Legends Tour, you will hear stories from Henderson’s past that include Kentucky’s first serial killers, nearby river pirates, a stabbing connected to John James Audubon, and a young boy’s three-year quest to return home after being abducted by Native Americans.
Tour guides will lead you through the streets of Henderson, telling stories that are surprisingly grisly, and sometimes downright gory. Most are true, some are legends or myths, and some are ghostly! Be prepared to meet some “Historical Hendersonians” who experienced some of these events firsthand.
This tour was voted best in Kentucky by Kentucky Living Magazine this year, so don’t miss this opportunity! These tours take place this weekend only, October 29 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $5.00 at the Depot at 101 N. Water Street, and tickets will also be available at the door 30 minutes before tour times. For more information, call 70-830-9707.
Join us for this award-winning spooky tour, we’ll promise you’ll get a “bang”out of it!
