Henderson County Tourist Commission’s Executive Director Announces Resignation

Henderson County Tourist Commission’s Kyle Hittner announced her resignation as Executive Director, effective two weeks from March 7, 2017. Hittner also announced she will soon join the team at Field & Main Bank as the Director of Customer Experience.

Hittner served as the Tourist Commission’s Executive Director for three years, “The past three years have been incredibly rewarding,” Hittner stated. “I’ve enjoyed working with the community and managing a very successful team at the Tourist Commission.  The staff and commissioners are dedicated to the betterment of Henderson’s economy through the marketing of our assets and creating impactful experience for visitors and residents.  I look forward to the joining the team at Field & Main Bank. Community banking and what it represents is very real. I see this opportunity as a translation of my passion for this community.”

Jeff Troxel, Chairman of the Henderson County Tourist Commission Board of Directors, adds “The Tourist Commission is very grateful to have had Kyle’s leadership these past few years. It has been a joy to see her vision come to life and impact the Henderson community. On behalf of all the Board, we congratulate her on her next chapter.”

The Tourist Commission was proud to have Hittner’s efforts leading the organization during her time, especially during the Henderson County Branding Initiative this past year. The well-received Discover your nature… branding video made a significant splash in the Henderson community, and it is a testament of Hittner’s passion for hospitality, a trait that will surely transfer over in her future endeavors.
