9th Annual Jammin’ and Jumpin’– Olympians pole vault jumpers travel to compete in this yearly event. Local athletes, ages ranging greatly, also love to compete for the prize money. Fans and athletes alike gather together on Water Street. For more informations go to smtrackclub.com.
5th Annual Flippin’ and Flyin’-Saturday August 8th professional as well as recreational disc golfers will gather on Atkinson Park’s fine disc golf course to compete for prize money and awards. Breakfast in the Park– Saturday August 8th The Downtown Henderson Partnership will once again host Breakfast in the Park at Audubon Mill Park. Tickets are$8 for adults and $5 for children and features an all you can eat buffet of pancakes sausage eggs and coffee. Fun for Youngsters-As a part of our Folklife Festival on Saturday, August 8, Bluegrass in the Park, the Depot Community Room will have lots of fun, games, and arts and crafts specially designed for our younger festival goers.
