Highway 60 Yard Sale
Looking to add a couple plaid shirts to your wardrobe? Don’t miss over 200 miles of vintage shopping, snacking, and sightseeing stretching over 8 Kentucky counties. Discover deals from sun-up to sundown during this four-day event, September 29 – October 2. Hundreds of homeowners are expected to set up yard sales and booths along the highway. The yard sale also provides a great opportunity for Henderson organizations and groups to hold fundraising events.
Lions Club Arts & Crafts Festival
John James Audubon State Park welcomes over 150 food and craft vendors to participate in this year’s Lions Club Arts & Crafts Festival. October 1-2, indulge in apple dumplings, kettle corn, and other fall favorite foods while discovering a wide range of custom, traditional, and handmade crafts such as: quilts, furniture, art, ornaments, knives, and even chainsaw carvings. Children’s activities and inflatable bouncy houses provide fun for the whole family. Event hours are Saturday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Guided Historic Walking Tour
This fun, free, guided tour starts at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 1 at the Depot Community Room and continues throughout downtown’s historic district. View homes and businesses and hear interesting stories about Henderson’s past. The tour is approximately 1 hour. Cates Farm Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch
Scarecrows and pumpkins and corn, oh my! Enjoy hayrides, bonfires and ten acres of corn maze fun at Cates Farm, located at 8132 Pruitt Agnew Road, Henderson, KY.
