A visit to our Depot Community Room prior to a walking tour is a great way to learn about the history of Henderson County. Call ahead to schedule your tour of the community room and guided walk. While you’re there, you might also schedule time to visit with a local historian and learn about your family history. You can continue your history lesson around the block at the local library.
Tour our historic downtown on your own using the Sculpture Tour Guide found in our visitors guide. The sculpture tour ends at Audubon State Park, where you can continue to explore the great outdoors on the hiking trails, fish in the lake, or tour the museum.
