We’ve got some great ideas for gift that are not only exciting to receive, but also make an impact on a local nonprofit. Check out these unique ways you can shop small for your loved ones this holiday season.

1. Tickets to a show at the Preston Arts Center, presented by the Henderson Area Arts Alliance
We are lucky in Henderson to have a world-class, 960 seat theatre in our own backyard. We are even more fortunate to host on its stage, stellar national and internationally touring performance artists. We are looking forward to upcoming shows such as the Christmas musical performance by Home Free (December 16), the nationally acclaimed play, The Mountaintop (February13), Kentucky cellist Ben Sollee (March 23), and the broadway production of Cabaret (April 29). Tickets to a Henderson Area Arts Alliance show are not only a memorable experience, but also help to support the mission of the Arts Alliance’s mission “to create a vibrant community by providing quality arts experiences for all.” View the season of events here, and purchase tickets here.

2. Kyndle Gift Cards
Small business is the backbone of a diverse and prosperous economy, providing a livelihood for owners and their families, opportunities for successful employment and essential goods and services for the entire region’s population. Kyndle recognizes the fundamental role of small business and works to support and encourage current owners and entrepreneurs alike. One of Kyndle’s best programs which supports our stakeholders is their gift certificate program. Gift certificates are sold in $10 and $25 denominations at the Kyndle office and are redeemable at any participating Kyndle stakeholder business.
