Wildflower Walk: Fun Hikes & More at Audubon State Park This Saturday

John James Audubon is usually associated with birds, but the state park named for him in western Kentucky will be highlighting wildflowers this weekend.

The annual Wildflower Extravaganza is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CDT Saturday at the Henderson park.

There will be three wildflower walks to identify different plants, a scavenger hunt for children, presentations and a program about landscaping for birds. Visitors will learn about the area’s flowers and their historical uses.
