The DHP Summer Concert Series will be held on Friday evenings from June 25-July 30, 2010 celebrating a decade of talented musicians. There will not be a Friday concert on July 2, The concerts will be held in Audubon Mill Park, located on the riverfront from 7:00 P.M till 9:00 P.M. .
The Independence Bank 4th of July Celebration fireworks show will be held on Sunday, July 4, 2010 on the riverfront. Entertainment for 4th of July will begin at 7:00 P.M. in the amphitheater. Food concessions will be open by 5:30 P.M., childrens’ activities will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. in Audubon Mill Park and the fireworks show will begin at 9:00 P.M. Rain date will be Monday, July 5, 2010
June 25- David Lutz and John Snyder- Sponsored by Home Oil and Gas Company, Pittsburg Tank and Tower and On Deck Riverside Bar & Grill. Dave and Jon have been playing music most of their lives. Dave and Jon are currently playing at Cheeseburger in Paradise and Jon performs regularly with his blues band, The Hog Maw Blues Band. Join us for an evening full of music from The Drifters to Styx to Bon Jovi as John and David take us back in time. You’ll be in for a terrific evening of entertainment.
July 4 – Independence Bank 4th of July Celebration – Fireworks sponsored by Independence Bank, Musical Entertainment sponsored by Benton-Glunt, Tapp and Roselawn, Sitex and State Farm Insurance Agents Anne Thrasher Boyd, Al Baity and Steve Tweddell. The musical entertainment will begin on the riverfront at 7:00 P.M. with Keith Vincent. Keith Vincent, who mixes a little bit country with a little bit rock ‘n roll and creates a whole lot of fun, will provide the musical entertainment until the fireworks show! The fireworks show, sponsored by Independence Bank, will begin at 9:00 P.M. Food concessions from Rex’s BBQ and R&L Concessions will be available.
July 9- Skip Bond and the Fugitives. Sponsored by Ohio Valley Financial Group and Rio Tinto Alcan – Skip Bond and the Fugitives are returning to the DHP Summer Concert Series after a two year absence! You won’t want to miss this high energy band from Bowling Green, KY. They specialize in playing Motown, R&B, rock ‘n roll and anything in between. Skip Bond and the Fugitives have been together since 2002 and have grown to be Bowling Green’s favorite band by winning “The Best of Bowling Green” band contest every year since 2002. Mark this date on your calendar.
July 16 – RB Stone – Sponsored by Vaughn Insurance Agent Company, A Trusted Choice Agent, Weaver, Dalton & Associates, Branch of Ameriprise Financial and I.W.T.. RB Stone has been playing country and blues music since 1986 when he recorded his first album. His music travels have taken him across the USA to 5 continents and 31 other countries. He’s released 22 singles (most internationally) over the years and is now back in Nashville working on album number 14. He’s performed with many fine artists as diverse as: Southern Rockers “The Marshall Tucker Band”, to Tejano music multi Grammy Award winner “Little Joe’, Country Artist “Tricia Yearwood, to Cowboy Rocker “Chris Ledoux”. is a Henderson, KY native and has been in and around music his whole life. He was the lead singer for “God Sent” and they recorded several CD’s. Paul is part of the worship team at his church and also sings as a soloist in and around Henderson. He has recorded four CD’s and is recording a new one.
River City Quartet – River City is a southern gospel quartet based out of Henderson, KY. River City has been singing Gospel music throughout the Midwest, singing in churches, concert halls and festivals for over fourteen years. River City is comprised of Greg Lindsey, Seth Lindsey and Mark Ross all from Henderson, KY and Jamie Layton who makes his home in Carmi, IL. The group sings original songs written by group member Greg Lindsey as well as Southern Gospel Classics.

Spencer Bloodworth had a love for music at an early age which led to teaching himself how to play the guitar. He delves in the acoustic world and tends to surround himself with music every day. He started out leading worship at his church and has played at other churches,and coffee houses.
Shane Amar started playing the guitar at an early age. Shane is a very versatile guitarist and has developed a unique playing style. In 2003 & 2004 Shane was nominated for the “National Fingerpickers Hall of Fame Horizon Award.”
Insulated Band is from Owensboro, KY and they have been together seven years. The band is made up of four guys Drew Aud, lead vocals, lead guitar, DJ Brown, bass guitar, Coty Burton, drummer and Ryan Clark, rhythm guitar. They play a wide array of music from classic rock, southern rock, new country to Christian. They played with the Velvet Bombers in 2007 for a benefit, placed 1st in the Battle of the Bands at the Relay for Life event in 2006 and have played for numerous events and benefits.
