The Henderson Depot Community Room will present a free historic guided walking tour of downtown Henderson, Kentucky on Saturday, September 6, at 10 a.m.
Led by local historian Frank Nally, the tour will begin in the Depot Community Room with an introduction to artifacts in the display cases, focusing on the Civil War history display. The walking tour will include history and stories about Native Americans, as well as historical homes in the downtown area.
The tour will last approximately one hour, with all ages welcome. Special guests this month will be local Bear Cub Boy Scouts.
The Depot is located at First and Water Streets. Community Room hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. For more information call (270) 830-9707.
