For history buffs, there will be an exercise history walking tour in downtown Henderson on May 22 at The Depot Community Room at 101 N. Water St. Meet at 10 a.m. and prepare for a tour of some of Henderson’s most unique historical spots. Along the way, exercise and walking techniques will be taught. All ages and abilities are welcome!
On May 29, Atkinson Pool opens for the season! Pool hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Saturday and 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday. Don’t miss Family Swim Night on June 17, when the pool stays open late for a family swim session.
And don’t just exercise right this summer; eat right, too! June 1 kicks off the annual Farmer’s Market season. Located at the corner of Second and Main Streets in downtown Henderson, enjoy locally-grown produce, farm-fresh eggs, honey, jams and more! The market will be open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
