Dance Kaleidoscope Leaps Into Henderson

Dance Kaleidoscope (DK), a nationally acclaimed contemporary dance company from Indianapolis, IN, will bring their talent to Henderson Saturday, September 17 at 7:30pm with a performance of The ELVIS Project at the Henderson Fine Arts Center. With high-energy choreography and mod 1960s-inspired costumes, Dance Kaleidoscope offers a testament to Elvis Presley’s iconic appeal, charisma and compelling performance quality.

DK, Indiana’s premiere dance company, is about to open their 40th season in downtown Indianapolis. All 10 of the DK dancers excel in both Martha Graham technique and classical ballet. The result is an earthy elegance that is captivating to watch. Under the artistic direction of Graham disciple David Hochoy the company’s dance style has a strong duality of grace and emotional power.

For tickets to The Elvis Project, call (270) 831-9800 or go to haaa.org. The Elvis Project and Dance Kaleidoscope residency is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the Kentucky Arts Council and our corporate sponsors, Old National Bank, Rotary Club of Henderson, and Henderson Breakfast Lions Club.
