Civil War Living History Day!

All activities will be held in Audubon Mill Park, off Water Street.

Friday, March 26

11am – 5pm: Set up company streets, tents, dig firepits, put cannons on line

Saturday, March 27
** There will also be two, guided Civil War walking tours at 10am and 1pm this day.

7am: Reveille
8am: Officers call, prayer and breakfast
9am: Call for troops
10am – 2pm: Cooking demonstrations, company drilling, tours of the camp
2pm: Artillery drills, infantry drills
3pm: “General Fighting Joe Wheeler” presentation
3:30pm: More drill demonstrations and posting guard
5pm: Meal for troops
6pm: Posting guards drill and tours of the camp by candlelight
7pm: Cannon night firing over the river
9pm: Camp closes

Sunday, March 28
7am: Reveille
8am: Church service for troops
10am: Breakfast and drilling demonstrations and tours
11am: Lunch and posting guards, demonstrations
2pm: Cannon drilling and firing
3pm: Break camp and clean up
