Award-Winning Event Brings World-Ranked Vaulters To Henderson

JAMMIN’ AND JUMPIN’ STREET VAULT RETURNS FOR SIXTH YEAR 
The 6th Annual Jammin’ and Jumpin’ Street Vault returns to Henderson August 10-11. Held on the riverfront in the heart of downtown Henderson, the event draws pole vaulters of all ages, including those who are both nationally and internationally ranked. 
Jammin’ and Jumpin is part of the Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival, recently named one of the Top 10 Events in Kentucky by the Kentucky Tourism Council. In addition to be being a unique sporting event that draws high-level athletes, the vault boasts a roster of participants that has ranged in age from 10 to 73. 
This year’s event features vaulters such as April Steiner Bennett, 2008 Beijing Olympics 8th Place Finish; Mary Saxter, the 2011 Jumpin’ & Jammin’ winner and 2012 Olympic trial finalist and alternate; Mark Hollis, 2012 Olympic trails finalist; Jordan Scott, 2008 & 2012 Olympic trails finalist; Jeff Cover, 4 time NCAA All American winner and MANY others.
