Friday, May 28
5:30 PM Bingo – Bring out the whole family and enjoy an hour of bingo! We will play a variety of bingo games including traditional, coverall, and more. Come test your luck and possibly win a prize.
Where? Campground Shelter.
How long? 1 hour.
Who? Adults and supervised children are welcome.




Saturday, May 29



10:00 AM Hike The JJA Way – Join one of our naturalists on a hike along the Eagle Glen Pet Trail and discover how John James Audubon roamed these very woods. Learn about the wildlife that JJA observed, described and painted exactly
200 years ago. Be sure to wear your hiking shoes.
Where? Begin at the Campground Shelter. How long? 1 to 1.5 hours.
Who? All ages. Children younger than 10 should be accompanied by an adult.



2:00 PM Wind Spinners – Eye-catching, colorful wind spinners will brighten up any outdoor area. This is a fun project that you can hang outside on your camper or from the limb of a tree. Where? Campground Shelter
How Long? 1 hour.
Who? All ages.



6:00 PM S’mores – As the sun is beginning to set, come and sit by the fire and enjoy a s’more or two. This is a tasty way to end a nice summer day.
Where? Campground Shelter.
How long? 1 hour.
Who? All ages.



7:00 PM Campfire Chat with John James Audubon – Join Audubon State Park Museum Curator Alan Gehret around a roaring campfire as he spins tales of the days when John James Audubon roamed this land. Hear stories of Audubon’s stay in Henderson, Kentucky almost 200 years ago.
Where? Campground Shelter.
How long? 45 minutes.
Who? All ages.


Sunday, May 30

11:00 AM Audubon’s Resident Raptors – Meet Mousetrap, Scarlett or Reddy, our beautiful and interesting raptors in residence. We will take a close look at this unique group of birds that has special adaptations for hunting to survive
Where? Campground Shelter.
How along? 45 minutes.
Who? All ages. Children under 7 should be supervised by an adult. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS!



2:00 PM Memorial Day Parade Preparation – Meet at the Campground Shelter to decorate your bicycles, scooters, wagons and floats for our Memorial Day Parade. We’ll have lots of red, white and blue streamers, balloons and crepe paper. Cool lemonade will be served to quench your thirst.

How Long? 1 hour.
Who? All ages.



3:00 PM Memorial Day Campground Parade – Everyone loves a parade, and you will too when you join us for a real live parade around Audubon’s Campground. Bring your bicycles, tricycles, scooters, motorcycles, wagons and baby strollers for a red – white & blue celebration! Where? Campground Shelter.
How Long? 45 minutes.
Who? All ages.
