The Henderson Area Arts Alliance presents an exciting upcoming season of events including performances such by Mandolin Orange, Robin Hood, the Home Free & Acousikats, Point of Grace, Shadows of the 60’s and many more.
Each event will be taken place at the Henderson Fine Arts Center. In August, comes the performance of Mandolin Orange. Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz craft simple songs using acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin and a hand-me-down fiddle. In September Missoula Children’s Theatre presenting to the play “Robin Hood”. As October rolls in, you can watch the two time award-winning a cappella group, Home Free and Acousikats will sing together in one show. December holds the Point of Grace performance as well as the Children’s Nutcracker.
Leading into the new year of 2015, the Peking Acrobats show off their extraordinary tricks. In March the Shadows of 60’s pay a tribute to the legacy of The Four Tops, Temptations and Supremes.
In the month of April come see the dramatic monologist, living-history actor, Hal Holbrook, amaze people with his outstanding impersonation of Mark Twain. Also in the month of April come see Rosanne Cash, a country singer perform with her longtime collaborator (and husband) John Leventhal. Lastly, the Macbeth & Faerie Tales are making a guest appearance in Henderson showcasing the magic of Shakespeare and his love for the arts.
