Ghost stories and true stories of folks who met untimely death have a way of intriguing a community’s interest. And in a city like Henderson, that’s been here for more than 200 years, such tales abound.
The Depot Community Room staff has compiled some of these stories into a unique walking tour that intricately weaves the haunted folklore of Henderson with historical facts. The result is an extraordinarily (and paranormal) good time!
The tour date is set for Saturday, October 16th at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. weather permitting, and will begin at The Depot (pictured above). If the October 16th tour is canceled due to weather, the rain date will be Saturday, October 23.
The tour is FREE with refreshments provided prior to the event. Parental guidance is suggested, as some stories may contain adult content.
The Community Room Staff has added several new stories this year to this annual tour!
The Depot is located at First and Water Streets. Community Room hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. For more information call (270) 830-9707.
